PRE-SHOOT CHECKLIST
Suggestions for making your home look its best.
EXTERIOR
Vehicles are moved out of driveway and away from front curb.
Driveway is freshly swept.
Garbage cans are out of sight.
Windows are clean inside and out.
Solar window screens are washed or removed (these get dusty and worn).
Lawn is freshly landscaped or mowed.
Exterior is free of loose items such as gardening tools, toys, shoes, etc.
Hoses are neatly coiled.
Pool is clean and pool vac is out of sight.
GENERAL INTERIOR
Carpets are vacuumed, hardwood and tile floors are mopped.
Light bulbs are all working.
Free-standing fans are out of sight.
Electrical cords are concealed.
Pet bowls, toys, and beds are out of sight.
Exercise equipment is out of sight (unless the property has a gym).
Depersonalized as much as possible (family photos, sports merch, posters, stickets, etc).
KITCHEN / DINING
Countertops are clear of bottles, small appliances, produce, and misc. items.
Backsplashes, cabinets, and appliance surfaces are wiped down.
Sink is emptied.
Refrigerator is clear of magnets and photos.
Range hood light is working.
Waste bins are hidden.
BEDROOMS
Surfaces are cleared of personal items. Decorative clocks and lamps are fine.
Shelves are organized.
Beds are made.
Walls are neatly decorated or bare.
Clothes are out of sight.
Closets are closed -OR- organized and open. We want to show off walk-ins if possible.
Fans are dust free. Hint: Slide a damp pillowcase over each fan blade and gently grip as you remove it to trap the dust.
BATHROOMS
Toilet lids are down.
Countertops are cleared of all items.
Mirrors and glass are spotless.
Towels are neat and matching.
Floor mats are out of sight.
Bins, plungers, and brushes are out of sight.
Full rolls of toilet paper are stocked.
